Compassion & Understanding

It is an illusion to think that wealth can make you poised, tranquil, and in peace. This can be true only if everyone else lives decently. If you are eating goose every day while others in your neighborhood don’t even have food on their table, you are POOR. If you own many luxurious cars while others in your community are pedestrians, you are POOR. If you live in a castle near a shantytown, you are POOR.

When people feel repressed, they are similar to dormant volcanos. They can erupt or explode when the pressure from the wealthy ones becomes too flagrant.

We need to develop compassion and understanding for others if we are seeking peace, tranquility, and happiness.
