To complete an academic degree, we learn how to solve situations. If someone hasn’t faced any problem during their journey, they miss a learning opportunity. We all have to go through a series of ebbs and flows. Living is like playing checkers. We need to develop strategies to move our pieces in the checkerboard. Failure to do so may be chaos. Therefore, we always need to watch our steps because a misstep may become a mistake. Be always careful in your decisions. Any choice counts and can be fatal. In Haiti, we pleasantly say “veye kote wap met piew” although we always make the wrong choice in the political arena.
