The secret of change

It would help if you made changes gradually. Although you should avoid putting fresh oranges with spoiled ones, transformation requires time.  According to Socrates, “the secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new.”

If you decide to make an inner change, it is best to focus on the area you would like to change. If you try to operate a radical change, you will fail. For instance, if you are impatient, intolerant, narrow-minded, prejudiced, etc., make changes one step at a time. Your system will not be able to undergo a radical transformation. Similarly, in the political arena, do not expect a new administration to get rid of the old habit immediately. You may screw up your life if you try an overall transformation in all areas. Things take time to build up; they will not get fixed all of a sudden.

We live in a spiral pattern, we have to always come up with new changes, but it’s best to adjust them gradually. If you are innocent or ignorant, you endanger your life and the lives of those around you.
