Quality vs. quantity

Quality is a standard of something as measured against other things of its kind. Quality is a degree of excellence. It refers to a distinctive characteristic or high standard of something or someone. A person of quality is someone intelligent, responsible, trustworthy, coherent, and honest.

Quantity is a comparison in terms of more or less. It exists as a multitude, amounts, or number. It is countable or measurable, and you can express it as a numerical value. You may carry in your basket many rotten oranges unfit for eating.

During your journey, you will see people coming into your life. Some are of quality, adding value to your circle. Others will enter your life shockingly and surprisingly, bringing more complex problems to your book. But do not close the book because of them. You will have to turn the page and start a new chapter. It is easy to do so if you do not have plenty of fake friends. However, if your circle is of quantity, not quality, you will have a complete book of math to solve.

Friends of good moral values will carry you where the money would not go. But dealing with low-profile people will drain you to pitfall. Remember that “birds of the feather flock together.” In choosing your relationship, go for quality, not quantity. Honesty, loyalty, and sincerity keep a relationship alive. It is best to select these values before surrounding yourself with a bunch of frienemies.
