Create a pure friend relationship

We were born in a family we didn’t choose, but God did. That family becomes the place to develop our potentials. From there, we get all knowledge to fulfill our destiny. Then, we choose a circle of friends to extend our relationship.

We create our circle of friends not to use and be used, but to understand and be understood. They are fragile gifts carelessly wrapped, and it’s up to us to unwrap them smartly. We give them access to teach us what loyalty, honesty, respect, and trustworthiness are. As long as we live, we may know good and bad times. We may even become the laughing stock of others, but a friend will always be there for us. They overlook our failures and tolerate our success. According to Thomas Aquinas, “there is nothing on this earth more to be prized than true friendship.” In turn, François de La Rochefoucauld thinks, “a true friend is the greatest of all blessings, and that which we take the least care of all to acquire.”  They are our most precious possessions. But the basket is not always filled with good fruit; we must expect spoiled one as well. We will find out who the fake friends are when we get involved in trouble. That is the reason Oprah Winfrey adds, “lots of people want to ride with you in the limo, but what you want is someone who will take the bus with you when the limo breaks down.”

We must always create a pure atmosphere to maintain our friend relationship healthy.

Manage your thoughts

We are the product of our thoughts. In general, we reap what we sow. Everything starts with the ideas we plant in our minds and affects our lives positively or negatively. Many people ignore the power of thinking. They lie, judge others, accept destructive and negative thoughts in their minds. They poison their life and the life of others. Although we are free thinkers, our thoughts always have consequences. “You will get a reaction or response from your subconscious mind according to the nature of the thought or idea you hold in it,” per Dr. Joseph Murphy.

If you accept any thoughts to visit your mind, they must be positive; otherwise, block them. They are living entities. Their reaction may weigh a lot on you, depending on the force they were initially formed. Remember, if you judge others, they will judge you. If you love others, they will love you. That is a natural law.

Make a habit of sending daily thoughts of peace, love, and harmony through the planet and on each being.

Develop the power of faith

“In our ignorance of the truth, we have misused the highest power we possess.” Ernest Holmes

God hasn’t set a limit for us, but we let ignorance invade our minds and underuse our power of faith. The scriptures say, “whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” Marc 11:24

It would help if you made positive thinking your predominant mental attitude. But it is not enough to think positively for a few moments and later let fears and doubts enter your mind. Fear comes from a lack of faith. If you believe in God and knows He is omnipotent, why should you feel unsafe or unsure? If you truly allow Him to be the captain of your ship, no matter the conditions of the sea, your boat will not sink.

Develop a solid mindset to trust God for your health, daily bread, shelter, and, above all, inner peace.

Awaken Christ Consciousness

The Scriptures say: “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus” Philippians 2: 5

To live in peace, love, and harmony, we must constantly do the following:

  • Cleanse our minds and release all garbage or negativity: Jealousy, envy, hatred, anger, and revenge.
  • Seek out God’s presence through spiritual connections.
  • When negative thoughts cross our minds, nullify them right away.
  • Forgive those who have trespassed against us.

The above conditions are necessary to awaken Christ Consciousness in us.

Make inner beauty shine

Beauty is subjective. The flower, the fragrance, the music, and the paint that attract someone are not generally accepted. When beauty is the basis of a relationship, it’s like a castle of cards built on a hilltop. Remember that Pierre de Ronsard was crazy for the beauty of a woman saying that “Mignonne, let’s go see if the rose which this morning had opened her purple dress in the sun, has not lost this vesper, the folds of her purple dress, and her complexion like yours.” In turn, passionate for the beauty of his Nefertiti, Akhenaton said, “when virtue and modesty enlighten her charms, the luster of a beautiful woman is brighter than the stars of heaven, and the influence of her power is vain to resist.” Is that inner beauty?

Beauty exists in mind; therefore, your eyes don’t see it when internal, but your heart does. Inner beauty attracts true love, and it should be the essential part of improving oneself.

For a house to resists natural disasters, its foundation must be solid. A relationship based only on external beauty cannot survive the human catastrophe. Let’s prioritize inner beauty.

The meaning of friendship

A true friend is someone who is there for me when he’d rather be anywhere else. That is the reason I can better trust those who helped to relieve the gloom of my dark hours than those who are so ready to enjoy with me the sunshine of my prosperity. According to Muhammad Ali, “Friendship is the hardest thing in the world to explain. It’s not something you learn in school. But if you haven’t learned the meaning of friendship, you haven’t learned anything.”
Living in a selfish world, true friends are precious gifts from God, don’t take them for granted.

Develop your life spiritually

Life cannot be meaningless. There should be a reason to fulfill our journey. The reason may differ from person to person, and we may not all be on the same level of spiritual growth. But no matter what, our “prime purpose in this life is to help others,” says Dalai Lama.

It is best to live without seeking the meaning of life; otherwise, you will lose your mind and never get the answer. “You will never live if you are looking for the meaning of life,” said Albert Camus.

I always advise people not to hurt others and judge them because each person is a tree in the garden of God. Consider life as a mirror that reflects your actions, so you should never do unto others what you would not like them to do to you. For Dr. Paul L. Masters, “your spiritual life is the most important part of your life. The outcome of everything else is likely dependent on your spiritual life than on anything else. The reason for this is that the spiritual side of your life controls everything else in it.”

Your spiritual growth opens the door to anything else; therefore, make it the number one priority in your life through your thoughts, words, and deeds.

Give priority to values

“If what matters most to you are material things – success, money, and pleasure – if there is no room in your mind for spiritual values, you will never make any progress. But when someone puts love, beauty, and the spirit before everything else in their life, without worrying about whether they will be rich or poor, well dressed or in rags, honored or ridiculed, then for them, everything is possible.” Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov

LET LOVE SHINE

LIFE IS AS FRAGILE AND VOLATILE AS THE STOCK MARKET. SOMETIMES ON THE RISE, OTHER TIME ON THE DOWNSIDE. IT IS LIKE THE DOW JONES AND THE NASDAQ. INVEST SMARTLY TO GET A DECENT RETURN ON INVESTMENT (ROI). IF YOU LET YOUR HEART BE YOUR STOCK MARKET, THE STOCK WILL ALWAYS BE ON THE RISE AS LONG AS YOU ALLOW LOVE TO SHINE.
