Ignorance

Ignorance is the source of all problems. We let our senses drive us and end up in a thorny shrub difficult to escape. This is true in almost all situations occurred in our life. A clear example is love attraction: we can be attracted by a woman/man and let this feeling drive us to marriage without preparation; then woe follows. Another example can be salary attraction: We accept a good offer by an employer without taking into consideration the work environment; then we fall into all kind of misery.

” Attracted by light and heat, a moth flies into a flame. Stunned by the sounds of a guitar, a deer stands unaware of a hunter. Drawn by the scent of a flower, a bug is trapped inside. Attached to taste, a fish rushes to a hook. Pulled to mud, an elephant cannot escape.” (Paltrul Rinpoche’s Sacred Word)

Be strong and confident

Oftentimes unexpected situations occur on our way. Those who are not strong enough to accept and keep confidence lose faith. There should be no mountains too high to climb. With your oneness with God, don’t worry about the depth of a river. Remember that God hasn’t set a limit on you. Be always strong and confident in situations.

“Do not be afraid of your difficulties. Do not wish you could be in other circumstances than you are. For when you have made the best of an adversity, it becomes the stepping stone to a splendid opportunity.” (H.P Blavatsky)

Wisdom

He who takes the road toward Wisdom does not tarry in quenching his thirst for vile pleasures of senses. In fact, he is a good observer and pays close attention to the sharp-tongued voices of illusion. Storms, earthquakes, or tornadoes can’t make him shift speed.

Life’s purpose

Each one of us has a specific reason for being here. Some of us know the reason; others live and die in the ignorance of their mission. But, all of us have the possibility to discover our purpose through prier and meditation.

” The selfish devotee lives to no purpose. The man who does not go through his appointed work in life has lived in vain.” (H.P. Blavatsky)nefertiti_and_aton,_sun_god[1].jpg

Creed of Peace

I am guilty of war when I proudly exercise my intelligence to the disadvantage of others.

I am guilty of war when I distort other’s opinions, which differ from my own.

I am guilty of war when I show disregard for the rights and properties of others.

I am guilty of war when I covet what another has honestly acquired.

I am guilty of war when I seek to maintain my superiority of position by depriving others of their opportunity of advancement.

I am guilty of war if I imagine my kin and myself to be a privileged people.

I am guilty of war if I believe a heritage entitles me to monopolize resources of nature.

I am guilty of war when I believe other people must think and live as I do.

I am guilty of war when I make success in life solely dependent upon power, fame, and riches.

I am guilty of war when I think the minds of people should be regulated by force, rather than by reason.

I am guilty of war when I believe the God I conceive is the one that others must accept.

I am guilty of war when I think that the land of a person’s birth must necessarily be the place of his or her livelihood.
