Safeguard moral values

Peace of mind, self-respect, and self-worth are non-negotiable moral values you should never let others take from you. You must be able to walk away from anyone or any situation that threatens them. It is best to be careful about who you let enter your life. Some people will drain you to the pitfall; others will throw you into the lion’s den. But you were born with values, and you ought to keep them regardless of your situation.

To safeguard your values, you must set yourself free. To be free is to not ensconce yourself within the support of anyone or anything that can harm you later. You are fettered to rely on a provider for aid and assistance. If you cannot break a dishonest relationship, you are in slavery. If you let money drive you to immorality, you lack dignity.

To better yourself, it is good to develop the habit of safeguarding your moral values. A lamp exposed to the mercy of the wind can damage its environment. Likewise, if you fail to guard your mind divinely, your actions will destroy others. Do your best to safeguard your moral values.

Watch for treason

Traitors and assassins are both evils. They always cause suffering and sorrow to innocent people. Assassins are those who commit murders after plotting with a bunch of traitors. The assassination of a politically influential person requires the skills and competence of both the assassins and the traitors.

A traitor is a person who betrays another’s trust to commit treason. Sometimes traitors are among your best friends. An acquaintance may have referred them to you as people you can trust to fulfill a vacant position. Judas was not a killer but a traitor.

It is easier to track a killer, not a traitor. Killers are not in your circle of friends but someone appointed by your acquaintances and enemies for your assassination. A plot is likely planned by the traitors and executed by the murders.

Treason is a double assassination. It is the duty of those you trusted. The traitor shares your suffering, takes care of your loved ones, and occupies your position after your assassination. They are so malicious that it takes time to track them.

It is best to scrutinize people before appointing them in a vacant position or accepting them into your circle of friends. But, scrutinization is still not a total guarantee of your safety. You must seek divine protection when dealing with human beings.

Feed your mind positively

We are standing at a certain point and living in a specific condition because of choices previously made. We have the power to choose, and each option leads us in a particular direction. We can choose to be healthy or sick. To be healthy, besides eating nutritiously and doing proper exercises, we must create peace around us. Making peace requires being cooperative, joyous, friendly, and lovable.

Mental health is as essential as physical health to create happiness. Cooperating with mentally unhealed people is challenging. They feel offense in almost anything someone else does. They are reluctant to accept reason. Mentally healthy people, however, do not let the actions of others hurt them. They understand, cooperate, and correct any wrongdoing to please their community.

Every day you make a series of choices, and each one counts. It is best to follow your instinct. If you feed your mind with positive values, your intuition will lead you to the right choice.

Be dynamic

Everything is a reflection of a choice you have made. If you want a different result, make another choice. Every day we come across situations and make choices in each case. There is neither a good nor a wrong choice. But some options drive you somewhere; others lead you somewhere else. In the long run, we will meet at a certain point. To go to our destination, I take local roads that drop me at the river. In turn, my brother takes the highway leading him to the ocean. In the end, the river will end up slowly in the sea. There is no good or wrong choice. Our mind makes it so.

Everything is dynamic, not static. But people are most likely reluctant to changes, forgetting that success requires dynamism. Albert Einstein observed that “Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.” You are not dynamic if you waste your time with gossipers, slanders, and judgmental people. If your circle of friends has the mentality of crabs in a bucket, you are trapped.

Some people choose not to move on to please their mentally disabled friends. But remember that everything is dynamic. There are four different seasons each year, and each season has its specificity. You can’t discover much with a stagnant mind.

To enjoy your journey and discover the beauty of Life, you must be dynamic. You cannot make an omelet without breaking the eggs.

Defeat our enemies

An enemy is a thing that harms or weakens something else. That thing can be a country, a government, a group of people, an institution, an animal, or an individual engaged in hostilities against others. An enemy usually seeks to injure, overthrow, or confound an opponent. We were born along with our worst enemy, which is our mind. We know how to avoid our external enemies, albeit malicious, but taming our minds requires other skills. It constantly leads us the wrong way, and we may even end up in fatal accidents.

When you frequently fight with a specific enemy, whether verbal or with weapons, you lose power, teaching them your fighting secrets. It is best to seek consent. Hostilities are the worst enemies of peace, and we need tranquility of mind to progress. It is healthier to live in an environment where people hug, not tug. We all benefit from a place we can giggle and roll on the rug.

We must do our best to defeat internal and external enemies to live in peace, love, and harmony. Therefore, we ought to take care of our thoughts, words, and actions. It is preferable to feed our minds continually with words of love and compassion.

Be selfless

Selfishness is ego energy that makes people focus exclusively on their advantage, pleasure, or welfare, regardless of others. It is an imperfection you must get rid of; otherwise, it will impede your spiritual growth. It is best not to let this energy enter your mind, be selfless instead.

Being selfless allows identifying others’ needs and assist in solving their issues. Helping others is an efficient way to squash our ego. Those who are selfless don’t develop pride or a desire to be noticed. They act empathically from their heart and soul to the welfare of others. They are generous and kind, thinking more about others than themselves.

Cultivating selflessness arouses unconditional love, connecting you with your brothers and sisters. As noted by Albert Schweitzer, “The purpose of human life is to serve, and to show compassion and the will to help others.” Failure to do so is a shortfall that will impact you one way or the other. Those who transit without developing this generosity have missed a significant living opportunity.

It will help to cultivate selflessness during your journey and be able to assist those in need. The ultimate purpose of life is unconditional love.

Shift

It is good to travel together and explore the wonders of the world. However, when traveling with people without a destination and primarily interested in discussing angel’s sex, it is better for you to shift and take the road alone to fulfill your journey in peace, love, and happiness.

Seek peace

Peace is an inner quality, a state of mind. If your mind is at peace, you are happy, calm, tranquil, and poised. It is a stress-free state of security and calmness that comes when there is no fighting or war. Remember that one person can start a fight, but it takes two people to make peace. “If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other,” said Mother Teresa.

There cannot be peace where there is conflict. We may have different opinions, but we must be able to handle our disagreements by peaceful means. Healthy human relationships require understanding, compassion, and sympathy for one another. Sometimes, our minds lead us to wrong decisions. We must be vigilant to control it tightly and continually feed it with ideals of peace and harmony.

When your mind is disturbed by the desire for privileges, promotion, profits, or honor, you are not at peace. To seek peace, love, and harmony, you must keep your mind under control. The ultimate purpose of life is to spread unconditional love. To do so, we must constantly make an inner cleanup.

Be an instrument of peace

Harmony is the sound of things that go together well. When you attend a musical concert, you expect the chords to be in a pleasing combination; otherwise, there is a lack of harmony. As humans, we must create harmony between us, which we can reach only with an open heart. Francis of Assisi said, “Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love.” An open heart is an instrument for peace, love, and harmony.

Envy gives way to disharmony. It is a feeling of resentment aroused by someone else’s qualities. Not everyone was born to be a leader. I used to tell my classmates that my MBA doesn’t qualify me to be a better business manager than my mom. But ignorance makes people believe that a higher degree is all they need to become a leader. Not at all! Ambition, jealousy, and envy are pure ignorance. To build a better community, everyone must play their role efficiently. A frog may die without being metamorphosed into a toad.

You must understand that your hands have five fingers, and no one is better than the other. To contribute efficiently to your community, be conscious of your divine mission.
