Develop strength

It is a natural law that clouds, rain, and sun alternate to complete the cycle of life. Some greedy people always complain about changes occurred in the weather. As a human, we must expect days of alternate sadness, moroseness, and happiness. All we need to do is to be strong when facing our destiny. “Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength,” per Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Sometimes we endure hardships for karmic reasons. And the karmic law is not alterable. Whatever we can’t change, we must accept it without complaint. But we must stand firm and be strong despite all obstacles. We were born to be strong, but some people are cowards and desert in the middle of the battle against misfortune. True believers find the strength to persevere and endure despite overwhelming obstacles. Remember that if you do not give up, your greatest pains will become your greatest strengths.

You may be facing all kinds of hardships today; stand firm and believe in the power of God within. It is best to consider your adversity as a temporary misfortune and take the opportunity to develop strength. God will not keep you in perpetual distress.

Unity is strength

With effective and efficient teamwork, we can achieve everything. The tremendous development of technology allows the accomplishment of beautiful things. We don’t have to be on the same site to prepare a plan and save the lives of others. We can rescue those in need if we hang together in their difficulties. Strength comes through continuous effort and struggle. The eagle represents an example of a powerful mind. It is strong because of its beak, its feet, and other parts of its body. If any of these parts becomes weak, it will automatically lose its power.

A nation divided is weak even if its people pretend to be nationalists. True nationalists are not those who constantly refer to the glory of their ancestors. It would be best to build infrastructure in your country instead of sleeping on your ancestors’ laurels. In adversity, we can make the difference between liars and realistic people.

Haiti today is facing its destiny. Where are those who always pretend to be nationalists? Where are those who always keep the diaspora out from running for office? Where are those who have used the country’s goods for their welfare? You will discover your real friends in a crisis.

Fulfill your goal

A goal is an idea of the future or desired result that you plan to achieve. You may sometimes face many challenges to fulfill it. But unexpected situations require confidence and faith. You must understand that you have the seed of God in you. There should be no mountains too high to climb. With your oneness with God, don’t worry about the depth of a river. Remember that God hasn’t set a limit on you. A bird standing on a tree would not care that the branch breaks. It trusts its own wrings, not the branch it sits on. Be always strong and confident in fulfilling your goal. “The dream in your heart may be bigger than the environment in which you find yourself. Sometimes you have to get out of that environment to see that your dream fulfilled,” per Joel Osteen. There should be no reason to give up your goal. You will accomplish whatever you want to achieve in life. “Think good, and good follows. Think evil, and evil follows. You are what you think all day long,” according to Dr. Joseph Murphy.

When you stand firm and believe you can, you will. Without breaking the eggs, you cannot make an omelet; success requires motivation, dedication, and discipline. If you add inner strength to all these capabilities, you will become unstoppable.

Conquer your fear

To be courageous is to know how to defeat fear, which is a human emotion. Fear is a false alert of the presence of potential danger. It can be physical or psychological. If you don’t take any action to conquer it, you will not be productive. According to Dale Carnegie, “Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy.”
Fear impacts negatively those who allow it to enter their minds. It makes them susceptible to intense emotions and impulsive reactions. If you like to conquer your fear, consider it as False Evidence Appearing Real. Many let fear refrain them from moving on. If you develop an eagle mentality, you will trounce it. Remember that the chicken stays on the ground, but the eagle learns to unfold its wings while flying.

It is best to seek courage and face challenges. Those who succeed are fearless. Why don’t you follow them? Per Muhammad Ali, “He who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life.”

To fulfill your goal, make a habit of visualizing it and ask for guidance for its materialization.

Seek mediation

“If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. If a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand.” Mark 3:24-25

Strength is the fruit of union. In a relationship, people may have a different approach but should avoid a quarrel. They must stay united despite their divergence. Division always gives way to hatred and weakens both parties. It is best to seek mediation if the issue arouses controversy among the parties. In this case, it is better to avoid the worst, paying attention to the words spoken; otherwise, stay silent. It is easier to reestablish a relationship if we have managed our tongue. Peace is the most potent weapon in a situation; use it as much as you can. Although one of the partners may attempt to derail negotiations, keep an open heart. An open mind is the most valuable tool to convince others; it may rally the reluctant party. All we need in disagreement is a recall to the order, not a victory. There is no winner in a quarrel. If the parties can’t reach an agreement to their disagreement, they are all losers.

If you come up with an issue that may end up in a fishtail, seek divine mediation. Some situations may go beyond human comprehension. A professional consultation will not help, but God is omniscient. There is no limit to His mediation.

Make wise choice

“If you suffer, it is because of you. If you feel blissful, it is because of you. Nobody else is responsible – only you and you alone. You are your hell and your heaven too.” Osho

“You are the captain of your soul and the master of your fate. Remember, you have the capacity to choose. Choose life! Choose love! Choose health! Choose happiness!” Dr. Joseph Murphy

Every day we come across situations and make choices in each case. There is neither a good nor a wrong choice. But some options drive you somewhere; others drive you nowhere. Ask for assistance for the wise choice.

The secret of change

It would help if you made changes gradually. Although you should avoid putting fresh oranges with spoiled ones, transformation requires time.  According to Socrates, “the secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new.”

If you decide to make an inner change, it is best to focus on the area you would like to change. If you try to operate a radical change, you will fail. For instance, if you are impatient, intolerant, narrow-minded, prejudiced, etc., make changes one step at a time. Your system will not be able to undergo a radical transformation. Similarly, in the political arena, do not expect a new administration to get rid of the old habit immediately. You may screw up your life if you try an overall transformation in all areas. Things take time to build up; they will not get fixed all of a sudden.

We live in a spiral pattern, we have to always come up with new changes, but it’s best to adjust them gradually. If you are innocent or ignorant, you endanger your life and the lives of those around you.

Destiny

Destiny or fate is the hidden power believed to control what will happen in a person’s future. It is a predetermined course of events beyond human capacity. You may deviate from the roads; it will follow you. Although it’s imperative to watch your steps, you don’t know where it is awaiting you. “A person often meets his destiny on the road he took to avoid it,” thinks Jean de La Fontaine.

No one waits for destiny; it happens. Even in your decision to develop your divine abilities, you will face it in the middle of the road. But never let fear make you turn back. You are the master of your destiny, not his slave. With spiritual growth, people derive an increasing ability to face fate and ultimately overcome it.

It would help if you did not wait for destiny to drop you somewhere. It is best to prepare your future and consider your choice as your destiny. It is not realistic to rely on palm reading, crystal ball, or tarot card to read your destiny, but the future rewards those who make an excellent preparation to welcome it. The secret of your future lies in your recent decisions. If you made a mistake in the past, today is not too late to adjust it.

To avoid making wrong decisions in your daily routine, ask for guidance through your daily prayer or meditation.

Grievance

A grievance is an official statement of a complaint about something believed to be wrong or unfair. Commonly, people file a grievance against their workplace.

A grievance is also a real or imagined wrong or other cause for complaint or protest. As an administrator, you may do your best to meet people’s needs; there will always be grievances against your administration. An unsatisfactory group of people will be there to harm you.

A grievance may also be a social issue. A group of people in a society may feel suffering from systemic inequality, exclusion, lack of opportunity to satisfy their basic needs, and other disadvantages. This situation occurs to the minority group throughout the world.

Grievances may also be a form of self-created problems. People raise this form of grievance for lack of security. Spouses hold grievances on insignificant things to force the other partner to change. This kind of grievance is like drinking poison and expecting it to kill your partner.

In many cases, a grievance is harmful and self-destructive. It takes place in our minds by the ego energy trying to lead us the wrong way. Although it may be the right solution, we must first use other steps to solve an issue. The Bible would say, “Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33
