On our trip to enlightenment, we stop on earth in transit. Many take it for their actual abode. They do all kinds of insanity to please their ego, ignoring that the ego energy is insatiable. People tend to become more and more materialistic. They are rung on the ladder to competition, fighting to possess more materials. But all is temporary. Even our life is.

Applying the lesson Jesus has taught is not easy. People are lying and making money out of it. We should be able to grow and progress spiritually with the truth. But our ancestors wrote their statements and left their books of falsehood for us as factual statements. We lose our minds arguing against each other on the veracity of what happened in Israel thousands of years ago. Do we need to know? We need to know about loving each other and not betraying our brothers and sisters to satisfy our ego.

The evil force within us is so powerful that we don’t have a chance to look at our image through our brothers ’eyes. While Jesus has taught love and compassion, we apply hatred and betrayal. God says, “May there be light!” But we take pleasure in the darkness. It’s time for us to wake up and take the trip to enlightenment.
